Douglas Pinnell, LLQP

A native of Toronto, Douglas has lived and worked in various parts of Ontario including Parry Sound and the London area. He moved to Kitchener/Waterloo in 1987 and joined Mumby in 1997 as a Life and Health Benefits Specialist.
Douglas works within Architectural and Design communities to develop practical financial plans for Association members and their firms. His expertise in Life Insurance, Living Benefits and Health & Dental Programs helps principals and their employees manage their personal and business finances. He also works with clients on wealth and business preservation programs like Estate Planning, Buy/Sell and Key Person funding solutions and Group Health and Dental Benefits.
One of his key accomplishments was establishing the Mumby Association (Benefits) Plan (MAP). This unique program treats the typical (small) firm as if they were much larger, thereby offering them the benefits of preferred rates and coverages.
Douglas works hard to thoroughly understand clients’ needs. He has seen first-hand the challenges business people face, such as hiring good people, and keeping the best. He knows that a paycheque doesn’t make an employee loyal. And he knows that everyone has to manage a budget.
From Douglas’ perspective, Mumby’s clients are an extension of his family. Therefore, he responds to them with care and understanding. |
