Receptionist/Technical Assistant

We are a young, progressive and growing Kitchener brokerage looking for a special person to join our Commercial Lines sales team.   We are a high energy, supportive group with a commitment to building strong, long lasting relationships with our clients. 

We are looking for a Receptionist/Technical Assisant who would be responsible for:

• Welcoming all  clients and business contacts and appropriately, directing them to our brokerage staff.
• Learning and applying personal lines underwriting with respect to policy  documents issued by carriers
• Being a positive team contributor.

The right candidate will be a team player who can help us meet these goals.  The following attributes are a must:
Above average communication skills, a good communicator and organized.  All candidates must have the ability to obtain their RIBO license within 6 weeks of employment start date. Personal Lines Sales Broker

Are you looking to be a Personal Lines sales broker for VIP clients at a well-established Brokerage? If so, we are looking for you!

As a Personal Lines Sales Broker you will provide assistance to new and existing VIP clients. You will work closely with our Sales Manager to establish an individual marketing plan which will include objectives for sales activities and results as well as service levels. You will be provided with individual coaching to help you succeed.

Your Key Contribution Areas;

ü  Respond to client sales enquiries to achieve both inbound and outbound sales objectives as established in your marketing plan

ü  Deliver exceptional customer service

ü  Complete and review underwriting reports, inspections and other required reports in accordance with company guidelines

ü  Complete applications for insurance

ü  Participate in monthly sales meetings

ü  Record and monitor sales activity report

You bring;

ü  2+ years experience in personal lines insurance

ü  RIBO or OTL license

ü  A proven sales track record

ü  An understanding of the importance of customer service

ü  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

ü  A professional work ethic

ü  An ability to multi task and manage several projects simultaneously

ü  The ability to contribute towards a team that acts ethically and with integrity in our business practices

ü  A positive attitude and the ability to synergize well with a high energy team that works cooperatively while respecting diversity
